Vote Wisely, Vote Jesus
Isaiah 41:18-20 (NIV)
I will make rivers flow on barren heights,
and springs within the valleys.
I will turn the desert into pools of water,
and the parched ground into springs.
I will put in the desert
the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive.
I will set junipers in the wasteland,
the fir and the cypress together,
so that people may see and know,
may consider and understand,
that the hand of the Lord has done this.
Currently, there are only two political parties that come to the mind of Ghanaians when we mention anything presidential . The NPP government and the NDC government. I mean there are other governmental parties with the NPP and NDC government in contest for the presidential and governmental rule of our country Ghana; talk of parties like the CPP, NDP and others but unfortunately, they have been overshadowed for many years and have been made non-existing. We all know that as it stands now, the political parties that truly exist are the NPP and the NDC.
You know, Ghana’s style of enthronement and dethroning a government is through elections after every four years of ruling. The presidential candidates of these parties; NPP and NDC prepare manifestos and come to read out and declare to the people of Ghana their intentions or what they aim to achieve should they be voted into power and then live in hopes that they will be considered by the people as a result of the things they have declared.
What is a manifesto in the first place and what purpose does it serve?
Google says a Manifesto is a written statement declaring publicly the intentions, motives, or views of its issuer.The aims and objectives of the party are clearly spelt out in the manifesto for public consumption.
What we must know about manifestos is that, it is a declaration to make possible what is near impossible.
The purpose of the Manifesto is to convict the people (as they have come to the awareness of their intentions) , to win their trust and then promote themselves into power through the votes of the people . We all can mention some of the promises declared in some political party’s manifesto. Let’s sing them, One district, One Factory, One village, One dam and a whole list of unfulfilled promises.
After we have considered and understood their intentions, we give them the power to be rulers of our country , and then we live in expectation of seeing what they declared manifest. But in the long run, what do we get for trusting them ? Disappointments upon disappointments.
When we come to the realization that we have been deceived, we then just live in anticipation for the reigning terms to end so that we can vote out another leader we think can do the job.
This morning, the contest of who wants to be ruler of our lives is not between NPP and NDC. This contest is between God and Satan. They are in a contest to have dominion in the lives of humanity. Satan has prepared his manifesto of lies and deceit while God has also prepared His of truths and proofs.
This morning, God is spelling out to us His manifesto of truths and proofs. He wants you to give Him the chance to be the ruler of your life. He wants you to give Him the power to take dominion of your life, just like how you trusted and voted for the NPP government to come into power. He wants you to do the same for Him. So He’s laid out His intentions to you so you will consider it and vote for Him to be Lord over your life.
He said
Verse 18 & 19

With God’s manifesto, it is NOT the declaration to make possible what is near possible. No, God’s manifesto is a declaration to MAKE POSSIBLE what is IMPOSSIBLE . See this. In God’s manifesto, he declared saying,
I will turn the desert into pools of water,
Is it near possible to turn desert into pools of water? No! It is not near possible. Rather, it is IMPOSSIBLE to do such a thing. This should communicate to you the infinite power of God of what He can do . This should tell you this type of contestant specializes in IMPOSSIBILITIES!
Know the difference and make the right votes. Know the difference between the manifestos and know the difference between declarer. I don’t know what Manifesto the devil has spelt out to you through the world and for that matter, you have given him power to rule over your life. If you will be true to yourself, you will say that it has been nothing but disappointments upon disappointments. The devils manifesto is a luring tool of lies and deceit. Now that you have come to the realization of the purpose of the manifesto of Satan, please dethrone him from being the ruler of your life and vote Jesus!
He said He is doing this so that we will come to see and know what His mighty hand can do. Maybe creation is not enough to convince and open our eyes to His power, maybe we are blind to the many miracles, signs and wonders His been performing in our lives so He has to write to us a manifesto so that we will come to consider and understand what we should have known already as His children. Because he has seen that the devil has started laying down his manifesto to His children through the world.
Child of God, do not subscribe to the devil’s manifesto of lies and deceit. Subscribe to God’s manifesto of truths and proofs . Know the difference in the manifestos and know the difference in the declarer. Dear child of God who has already fallen for Satan's manifesto, please it’s not too late, you have the power to dethrone and enthrone. The contest of who takes dominion of your life is between God and Satan. Vote wisely! Vote Jesus!
