Becoming Like Jesus
Psalm 34:5 (NIV)
Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.
Wow, Oh how glorious you are Oppà (Father) . How magnificent you are. How righteous and flawless you are. How authentic you are my Lord and King. I stand in awe in Your presence embracing your beauty, aarhhh your exuberance is indescribable. You’re royalty, majesty, supremacy. Oh hail the most glorious God, oh Holy Holy Holy are You Lord. We hail Your glory, we hail your Magnificence, We hail your incomparable beauty. Oppà!
Wow, wow, wow. Children of God we have the best mentor ever. You know when I read the scripture, these two hymns started ringing in my heart. I believe we all know how to sing it .
Jesus, how lovely You are
You are so gentle so pure and so kind
You shine like the bright morning star
Jesus, how lovely you are
Oh God! Your children, we have come into your presence, to have your radiant light shine on us. The eye blinding light. We have come to gaze at your glory, to gaze at your magnificence, to have at your exuberant beauty. Oh Oppà, we have come to have a reflection of you. We want to look like you, think like you, walk like you, talk like you. We want our speech to be a reflection of your person Oppà. Our walk, our talk and thoughts , all a reflection of your person. Sooo then Oppà we abide in your presence. Day and night, not taken away by anything of that sort because we yearn to be like you. Like Father , like Son , like Father like daughter . There for Oppà, we fix our eyes on you. Heralding you’re Gloryyyyy, Heralding your majesty, heralding your royalty!!
Oppà! We abide, we abide, not wanting to leave your presence for anything else. Not wanting to take our gaze of you.

Children of God, let’s pursue becoming like JESUS, just like how you are pursuing that degree. To be a complete representation of him. Yes, already as children of God, we represent Christ. But there’s another form of representation we should all yearn for. And that’s His Person. This kind of representation is that of Talking like Him, Walking Like Him, Thinking like Him, looking like Him. I mean, when they see us , they should see Jesus.
Radiance, when I googled the layman’s definition, means, sending out light; shining or glowing brightly.
This morning we are looking at the Radiance of God. Becoming radiant in God.
Psalm 34:5

We are talking about a holy people who reflect God's attributes: radiance. His radiance, as a perfect reflection of God, the exact representation of his being, the exact expression of His nature. We can be all these and more. His exact reflection, an exact representation, His exact nature. Let’s pursue, let’s pursue. It should be on our lips, Lord I want to be like you, talk like you, walk like you and think like you. Everything about me should speak of you. So help us Lorddd!!! Thank You JESUSS!!
